The Truth about Water, Water filters and How much Water you need

Drink Water! Drink lots and lots of water. To be specific, a minimum of 1 quart (4 cups, 32 oz, or .9 liters) for every 50 lbs of body weight. For a 150 lb person, they need three quarts of water.

Everyone knows that drinking water is a good idea, but why is it a good idea?

The brain controls and coordinates everything and it does so over the nervous system using electrical impulses. What happens if you are in the bathtub and someone throws a toaster in? Electricity travels over water, so if you do not drink enough water, the messages your brain uses to control everything, will not properly function. With out the proper messages, how are you ever supposed to express your full potential and have a state of well being?

Besides a brain that functions better, what benefits do we receive from drinking water? Some of the things drinking water has allowed the body to heal include; stomach pain, ulcers, hiatus hernia, false appendix pain, rheumatoid arthritis pain, Low back and neck pain, angina (heart pain), stress and depression, High and low blood pressure, high cholesterol, excess body weight, asthma, allergies, diabetes, sleeping problems, anxiety, mood swings, memory loss, poor clarity of thought, and nervousness just to name a few.

The only thing that counts as water is water. Add even lemon or lime, and it doesn’t count.

How Much Water do you need?

The only thing that counts as water is water was not exactly true. Soda, juices, tea, coffee, or even water with lemon or lime in it do count. Technically they give you water, but if you are going to get enough water from them you need to drink 10-20 times the amount of liquids. For that 150 lb person, they need like 8 GALLONS of “other liquids”. Plus if the other liquid is soda or coffee, it is going to cause more harm than the water in it will do good.

Where do you get good water from? The best water is pure water in its natural state and is unfortunately not readily available. Water that has been frozen and unexposed to the environment for the last 200 years is about the only source. The next best thing is good reverse osmosis filtered water.
