The last 3 weeks of my life have been pretty insane. My computer crashed 3 weeks ago and I had not backed up my information for 2 months previous. So I spent the next 10 days getting the information off my hard drive that I didn’t’ want to lose. I finally got the information. Then I spent the next 4 days getting all the different settings, outlook files and the ways I like my computer to do what I want back online as well.
But I did it. And I am now back in the online world.
I spent Thanksgiving with my friend in Minneapolis. I am going home in about 10 days so I decided to stay here for the holidays.
I did yoga on Wednesday and Friday. I love doing yoga. Yoga actually means Union. Which implies to become one with the source of who you are.
Something that I recently learned about yoga. The 4 most important things of yoga are:
- Breathing
- Y our Gaze or where the focus is you are looking at (often the tip of your nose)
- The transition between the poses
- The contraction of the pelvic floor and lower stomach muscles.
Notice how the actual poses are not in the top 4 most important things of yoga.
When I heard this I was like WOW. Most of my time and attention in yoga was spent on the poses. Until now.
