I love this quote. By one of the most popular presidents in all of American history.
I would include freedom at any price in this as well. Freedom can be had. But it does not have to be at any price.
What I mean by that is we are giving up our freedom in America, in exchange for supposed freedom. If you are giving up freedom to get freedom, how can you possible have freedom?
We must weight the costs of everything. along with the benefit. Like one of my favorite quotes that I have put in my newsletter before. Knowing the price and knowing the payoff, and choosing powerfully in the face of both. |
