Said another way. If your cup is full, you have no room left over to put anything else in it. So you must empty your cup before you can put something else in it.
Your life is full of what you have put in it. If you want a different life you must give up what you currently have. You must let go of what you are holding onto. It can be scary because “what you have” is better than nothing. What if you let go and you don’t get something more than nothing?
You will. That is where trust and faith comes in.
It doesn’t mean go out and give your stuff away. That is NOT letting go.
It means begin looking for what you want. Focusing on what you want. Rather than what you don’t want.
