“Better to do something imperfectly than to do nothing flawlessly.” -- Robert Schuller
So many adults will not do things because they don’t know how to do them. And they suspect that in the learning process, they will make some mistakes and not do it “right”. So they don’t do it at all.
And you know what, they are right.
They will not get it exactly right the first time.
Imagine a child not learning anything new if they cannot do it right the first time.
None of us would be walking, talking, feeding ourselves, or any of the stuff we all do “right” now that we have practiced it.
But as adults, we think we need to get everything right the first time we do it.
