I think this is so perfect. Two comments in regards to this quote.
1 st – A movie - Noam Chomsky: Distorted Morality: America's War on Terror?
Basically, what we are doing in Iraq is Terrorism by the US’s own Definition. Not saying the war is right or wrong, good or bad. Just pointing out that we as the US are being hypocrites because of our own definition we are the largest terrorist organization in the world.
Definition of Terrorist according to the US Government:
The unconventional use of violence against civilians for political gain.
Against Civilians you might ask? Political Gain?
100,000 Civilians Killed in Iraq
"About 100,000 civilians have died as a result of the war in Iraq, according to research from Johns Hopkins University," Bloomberg reports.
"Most of the casualties occurred after the end of major hostilities in May 2003, researchers said in the study. Observations suggest that civilian deaths since the war are mostly caused by air strikes."
Political Gain – as much as I happen to agree that “Democracy” is “right” it is still for political gain.
Interesting when you think about it. US government a terrorist organization by their own definitions.
