If you are planning for a year, sow rice.
If you are planning for a decade, plant trees.
If you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.”
Chinese proverb
I like this because it to me really shows how knowledge CAN be power. You actually have to apply it otherwise knowledge becomes worthless.
And what is the biggest thing that prevents people from applying what they know?
Habits. What is a habit?
Something that you do or do not do on a regular basis.
So right now most people are in the habit of Not doing things. Not exercising, not eating healthy, not __________. You can pretty much fill in the blank.
So to make something a new habit in your life, you need to do it on a regular basis to make it a new habit of doing.
So how do you do that?
First you have to realize what the goal is of the new habit you want to establish and right it down.
Then You set up your 7 different environments to actually support you in creating the habits. This will create a natural “Pull” in the direction of your goals. It will actually help compel you to achieve your goals.
If you are struggling or have resistance to achieving your goals, it is simply because one of your 7 environments is not set up to help you win. SO you must find out which environment(s) it is and change it.
So how do you do this?
Go here and read more about achieving your goals and the use of the 7 different environments to actually help you do so.
