Happiness and fulfillment come from within. If you don’t go within, you will go without. I love that saying. We as humans want to blame everyone else for all of our problems, all of our upset, all of our anger, all of our unhappiness. When in reality, it is because of the belief systems and stuff you have inside that are not giving you the experience of happiness.
How can I say this so blanketly? Because when two people experience the exact same thing, they don’t’ respond exactly the same? Do they? Which means that it is because of what is going on inside you that is the response. If two people have similar responses, it is because they are similar on the inside.
Some people don’t like to hear this, because now they cannot blame others for their problems.
The power in this and the freedom in this comes from the fact that you can now change what you don’t like. You don’t have to get other people out there to change. And everyone who has tried to change someone, knows it isn’t easy to change others.
But you can change yourself if you want. |
