Many people have arguments with reality. I love this.
They have a flat tire, and they try and argue and get upset that this “shouldn’t” be happening. Well, guess what? It is. You can argue all you want about what should and shoudn’t be, but what is happening, is happening.
Or they will get a speeding ticket, fired, dumped, or something else, and then try and argue that this version of reality is not right.
The funny part is, reality always wins. Reality has never lost an argument with someone about how things should or shouldn’t be. So accepting what is, what is happening, what isn’t happening, is accepting reality, because it is the only thing that can possibly be.
This doesn’t mean you cannot try and change things to be different than they are. The future is not set in stone, the future can be shaped and molded. But you have to start with reality, what actually is, and go from there.
Start accepting reality as it is, and make appropriate choices of where you want to go from there. It is the only place to start from.
