I write about drinking enough water and talk about it all the time.
Yet even people in my life don’t get enough water every day.
I used to tell people to in my practice they had 2 choices if they wanted to see me.
1. Read the book, “Your Body’s Many Cries for Water” or
2. Drink 32 ounces of water for ever 50lbs of body weight (or 1 liter for every 25 KG) every day of your life for the rest of your life.
And every time someone emails me, or talks to me in my life with a problem they have, the first question I always ask is:
How much purified water have you been drinking
And I always get an amount. Because everyone “thinks” they have been drinking enough, but they haven’t. They say they have had enough, but when I pressure them into coming up with a number, almost no one has ever been drinking enough water.
I tell people that almost all their aches, pains, health problems would go away, or not be a problem for them, if they just drank enough purified water every day. But then they don’t, and they ask me why they have X problem.
Create some structure to make sure you drink the water you need every day until it becomes a habit.
The easiest one. If all you drink is water, and just make sure you have water with you at all times to drink when you want to drink, you will very likely get enough water every day.
