The book by Mary Frost “going back to the basics of health” talks about supplements in general.
It doesn’t go into what to take when based on per condition.
This book is not a recipe book about which supplements treat which conditions.
Because that is IMPOSSIBLE to be highly effective. For the same reasons medications are not highly effective.
As it is totally person dependent. Nutrition is about putting back what the body is missing. And what one person with X disease is missing is different than another person with the same X.
You cannot necessarily take X supplement for Y condition. Nutrition is not like drugs.
Drugs are treating a problem.
Supplements are putting back the missing element that is allowing the problem to happen. So when the missing nutritional element is back in place, the body will heal itself.
So the missing element for X condition will be different for different people.
A lot of people are trying to use supplements like drugs, but that is not what they are designed for.
And why so many people get discouraged when they take supplements. It didn’t work to treat their condition.
Not realizing they may be missing a different nutrient than someone else, that is why the supplement didn’t work.
So get this book and you will know for yourself about what supplements may be good for you.
I personally take a mineral supplement, Fish oil, and a good multi vitamin from standard process.
