So we as humans have this uncanny ability to make up meaning about everything that is happening.
I have an acquaintance. She is constantly telling me how I am feeling and what I am thinking. And I find it so amazing, because then when I disagree with what I am thinking or what I am feeling, she doesn’t believe me. And not because she thinks I am lying, but that I am not sure what I am feeling.
Amazing, she knows better than me how I am feeling. She knows what thoughts are in my head more than me.
She is making up meaning about the actions and meanings I am doing and saying, and even believes them to the point of me contradicting that meaning.
We think we know what is happening, the meaning, the person’s intentions.
