I had a huge insight this week. That I was a negative person. I learned that 85% of people are negative people.
So what is the definition of if you are a negative or positive person?
If your boss or someone you care about emails you and it says:
I need to talk to Immediately! Get into my office.
What do you think?
What does the voice in your head say?
If it thinks something negative first, you are a negative person.
Ex. What is wrong, what did I do, why am I in trouble, what bad happened?
If it thinks something positive first, you are a positive person.
Ex. Wow, am I getting the raise, what exciting news do they have to share with me, what fun idea did they now have?
Now, what I have always done, is change that negative first thought, into a positive thought. Positive possible meanings that could mean. But my first response was not a positive interpretation.
Now, this is an example, but the majority of the time, what does that little voice in your head say first?
I have learned to ignore that little voice in my head most of the time. Most of the time it isn’t helpful and doesn’t empower me and isn’t what I really want.

How can you start changing it?
Start looking at what you have accomplished.
Every day, or at least every week, write down the good things you have accomplished.
