Now, I know this goes against many common grains of thinking and religions, and I want you to follow with me a second.
God is Omnipresent, or everywhere and in everything.
God has always been and always will be, is everything that is, was and ever shall be.
So if you are not God, that would mean God is not somewhere. The somewhere that you think you are is where God would not be.
But we just stated that God is everywhere. So therefore this cannot be true.
If God is everywhere, you are God.
Not in some grandiose I am God and you are not way. But in that we are all God. Everyone you see is God.
Now what does this mean to you.
Next time you see someone (who is also God like you) doing something you would normally want to judge as wrong and bad, you might be a little more loving to them and forgiving of them.
Forgiveness does not mean condoning. You can forgive someone, you can be for giving towards people, even though you don’t condone or approve of their actions.
If everyone saw everyone else as God, do you think we would all be treating people a little differently than we do now? |
