Men are “naturally” Polygamous
Now before all the women write me and say, BS! Follow me on this one and see if it doesn’t help you create a husband who is more naturally inclined to be Monogamous.
For Millions of years this is how it went. Men who went out and spread their seed passed on the genes of spreading their seed. They had lots of children and those males had the tendency to go out and spread their seed. The men who didn’t do this had no or few children. So their genes of going out and spreading their seed were not passed on, or to a few people.
Multiply this times 1 million years and you have a society where most of the men have the genetic tendency to go out and be polygamous.
Now before I get the hate mail, hold on a little longer.
Your Genes are not set in stone. You can actually change your Genes. Bruce lipton – a PHD and Cellular Biologist – actually has proved and shown how you can change your genes.
He has a great article on this here or you can get a video called – Conscious Parenting.
This video talks about the nature nurture debate of what has a bigger influence on a child and shows you how it is NEITHER. The biggest influence on our genes and who we are is our consciousness. And that by changing our consciousness we can transcend both nature and nurture.
So what does this mean?
Unless you realize that most men have a natural tendency towards polygamy in their genes, AND you do something to consciously change those Genes, it will be harder for a man to stay monogamous even if he wants to.
There is another great DVD by bruce lipton that talks about how to change your beliefs and change your Genes. You can get it here.
So until next week when I write about how women are naturally monogamous. |
